Welcome to the Twist Sport Conditioning Spring Youth Athlete Conditioning Programs! The Twist training philosophies have been built around training young athletes in a variety of sports and activities in order to develop athleticism, improve sport performance and provide a unique fitness experience that will help instill a strong work ethic and healthy lifestyle habits.
This Fall we have a wide range of Sport Conditioning Programs for young athletes from the ages of 8-18 from the beginner to elite level. Athletes can train 1, 2, or 3 sessions per week, depending on the Sport Program. Whether you are looking for in-season conditioning for HOCKEY, BASKETBALL, VOLLEYBALL or other winter sports, or off season training for SOCCER, LACROSSE, RUGBY, TENNIS etc. Let Twist’s elite sport conditioning specialists help your young athletes take their game to the next level today!
FALL MINI CAMPS Sept 7th- 25th (3 weeks)
September can be a hectic month, hockey is starting, soccer is winding down and, oh yeah, there is also that school thing to get used to again. We know how complicated it can be to juggle a new school schedule and predict ice times, practice schedules, tournaments etc. For the Fall program schedule we try to simplify as much as possible by kicking off the Fall with a 3 week MINI CAMP program that allows athletes to keep going with their training but not commit to a full fall schedule until Sept. 27th when the official 12 week program begins.
All Fall MINI CAMP athletes will receive $25 off of Fall registration for 12 week program.
Fees: $90 1x/ week (3 session) $150 2x/ week (6 sessions) $220 3x/ week (11 sessions) *prices do not include HST

The 2010 In Season Hockey Conditioning program is to players from Pee Wee through to Pro. All Twist Hockey conditioning programs follow the Twist in- season hockey progression designed to make you a better skater, shooter, and checker with specialized drills that focus on linked strength, rotary power, 1st step quickness, stride power, skating balance and speed. All hockey conditioning groups will be based on ages and skill level. Don't wait until playoff time to train. Keep your conditioning level high all season in order to be at your best when it counts the most.

high performance Soccer ConditioningScR
The Twist off season Soccer program has been tested and proven through all levels of the sport from the developmental level of the DRSA District Player development program at U12 right through to the Women's National Team. This off-season program will focus on improving soccer specific strength, speed, quickness, power, and movement skills through the innovative Twist soccer training systems. The Twist coaches will motivate and challenge the athletes through this progressive program and give soccer players the tools they need to win challenges to the ball, break away from defenders and elevate their game.

FALL Sport conditioning Ssc
This program is available to athletes from variety of multi-directional sports including hockey, soccer, basketball, lacrosse, baseball, football, tennis, rugby, and volleyball. Athletes will train 1, 2, or 3 sessions per week
with a focus on developing the secondary fitness characteristics of common in all multi-directional sports including speed, quickness, agility, athletic strength, balance, rotary power and more.

In most sports an athlete's ability to move quickly within a fingertip to fingertip distance in often the component that determines game breaking plays. The SAQ program is all about movement, efficiency, quickness and speed development. This program will teach young athletes how to move better, stop and change directions quickly and accelerate explosively. The SAQ program will feature a wide range of Twist training drills and SAQ tools taught with our unique active coaching philosophy. The SAQ program is sure to make every athlete a better athlete.

KIDS SPORT CONDITIONINGKSC
Kids Sport Conditioning will teach young athletes the foundational components of athleticism through a fun, dynamic and motivating training environment. Children between the ages of 8 and 11 are at a peak stage for nervous system development. This means that most of their body awareness, coordination, movement mechanics and balance will be developed by the age of 12 making it a critical time for youth athletes to train. The program will focus on developing movement not muscle. Balance, agility, quickness, core stability, posture, reactivity and strength will be trained through fun and challenging drills. Don't miss this window of opportunity, join the youth movement.
*Please note KSC is now a separate 60 minute training session. Costs: 1x/week = $25; 2x/week = $20/session.

FITNESS TESTING AND 1-ON-1 TRAINING T.A.E.
Add this T.A.E. program on to any of our group or team training programs and experience a customized training plan that focuses on meeting your individual goals which will be measured by pre and post program functional testing. This package includes; a 30 minute consultation session, a 1 hour private functional testing session in week 1 and a 1 hour post-testing private session in the final week, 5 one-on-one private training sessions customized to your goals to be used at any time throughout the spring session and a customized take-home workout to perform on your own. Must be booked by Sept 25th.
Cost: $399 (Package is valued at $599) Must be registered in a youth program or team training. One package per person. |
