At Twist Conditioning everyone is an athlete. The kids are heading back to school so now is the perfect time for the adult athletes in the family to get yourself back in gear for your sport. Let our team of coaches bring out the athlete in you in one of our Fall Adult Conditioning Programs. Participants can choose to train 1-4 x per week. Mix and match different programs, and customize your conditioning to help you maximize performance in your sport or get functionally fit for everyday activities.

Already have a gym membership or a regular training program? No problem, come in and learn how Twist Smart Muscle Training can help you to enhance or supplement your current training, learn new exercises and drills and allow the Twist coaches to challenge you beyond what your current training provides.

TWist Total Athlete Experience 1 on 1 Testing & training

Add this T.A.E. program to any group or team training program and experience a customized training plan that focuses on meeting your individual goals which will be measured by pre and post program functional testing. This package includes; a consultation session, a 1 hour private functional testing session in week 1 and a 1 hour post-testing private session in the final week, 5 private training sessions (or 7 private sessions if no testing) customized to your goals to be used at any time throughout the spring session and a customized take-home workout to perform on your own. Must be booked by April 2.

Cost: $399 (Package is valued at $599) Must be registered in an adult/youth program or team training. One package per person per season.

 

Adult Functional Fitness AFF

Twist's most popular Adult Conditioning program is guaranteed to make your body more fit and functional. Adult Functional Fitness is a group (non-choreographed) training program that integrates balance, full body strength, core strength, stability, agility, aerobic and anaerobic conditioning, flexibility, and more. This 1 hour and 15 minute workout will increase your fitness level, meet your athletic goals, and develop your body to meet the demands of life and sport.

adult hockey conditioning (Dryland)ahc

Do you play hockey to train or train to play hockey? If you are an adult hockey player looking to improve your conditioning and improve your game this off season , this is the program for you. Our hockey-specific dryland program will focus on making you a better skater, shooter, and checker with specialized drills that focus on linked strength, rotary power, first step quickness, stride power, skating balance, and skating speed. Train once a week and feel the difference on the ice.

anaerobic strength and conditioning aSc

If you are looking for a NEW high intensity workout to challenge your athletic limits and drive your heart rate near your max, then the ASC class is for you. ASC will train the anaerobic energy system through multi-directional interval training, resisted and overspeed running, agility, plyometrics, muscular endurance training and indoor cycling intervals. Maximize you calorie consumption and increase your cardiovascular capacity by elevating your VO2max and anaerobic power with this exciting new class.

Twist Functional Lunch/breakfastTFl/tfb

The functional lunch and/or breakfast is the perfect opportunity to get your workout in on your lunch break or before going into work. This high intensity workout will be completed in 45 minutes. You will be in and out of the training centre in 45 minutes after an amazing balance, strength, core and aerobic conditioning workout. Go back to work or home with more energy. Showers and change rooms are available at the SCC.TFL classes offer tremendous value at $20/class for 1 session/week or $15/class for 2 or more sessions.

Yoga Sport YOGA

Whether you are looking to improve your flexibility and function for activity and performance or you are an avid yoga student, this 75min class will focus on your balance, strength, coordination, flexibility and core stability. Linking postures together in a flowing sequence emphasizes continuous steady rhythm of breath and movement creating an athletic practice. Postures target tension areas and stiff muscles to compliment your regular training and performance sessions. This program is taught in the Twist environment by a certified yoga teacher and conditioning coach - suitable for all ages. Yoga Sport is an amazing compliment to your other training at only $15 per session.

2 sessions/week = $25/session x 30 = $750
3 sessions/week = $20/session x 45 = $900
TFL 1 per week = 1/ week = $20/ x 15 = $300
TFL 2 per week = 2/week = $15/ x 30 = $450
TFL 3 per week = 3/week = $15/ x 45 = $675
Yoga Sport (45 min) = $15/session x 15 = $225
all prices are subject to HST

For athletes who begin after the start of the program fees will be prorated to reflect the number of weeks remaining. Programs will be prorated for stat holidays when applicable. .
