2011 was an exciting year for our coaches. Our groups and camps were bigger and better than ever. Peter Twist and the Corporate Education team reinforced our relationship as Education providers for Combine 360 and have been providing content, curriculum and coaching for Global Combine 360 events is the U.S. With this partnership we have had a chance to interact with, train with, work with and learn with some of the top names in the athletic training field. We now have the amazing opportunity to include Combine Challenges, Combine Training and C360 Athlete Evaluations into our programming for 2012. We have also been working with the top Sport Conditioning Tools available for athletes and now have Master Coaches for Combine 360, ViPR, BOSU, TRX and Trigger Point Performance Therapy available to lead workshops and education and to coach our athletes BETTER. I can't wait to see what 2012 will bring!

At Twist, everyone is an athlete. Whether you are still a competitive athlete, weekend warrior or simply an active person who wants to challenge yourself, let the Twist team of coaches help make training your sport this Fall in one of our 2012 Winter Adult Conditioning Programs. Adult Athletes can choose to train 1-5x per week in a variety of programs designed to help you GET BETTER, EVERYDAY. You can mix & match different program options and customize your conditioning schedule. If you already have a gym membership or regular training program we can help you enhance or supplement your current training regime with cutting edge exercises and drills and training tools. Let the Twist coaches challenge you beyond what your current training provides and learn from the best. Not sure about training with a group? Does your schedule make it difficult to fit regular classes into your weekly routine. Do you have unique individual goals or injury issues that require extra attention or coaching? Or, do you just prefer the individual attention and motivation you can get from having your own private coach? If you answered yes to any of the above, private training is for you.

This is your opportunity to have your own personal strength and conditioning coach to help you attain the highest levels of fitness and performance for your sport and everyday life. Twist Coaches are not here to count reps and check off exercises on a clipboard, we are here to coach, to motivate and to challenge every Twist Athlete to get better everyday.

Private training is available 1-on-1, partner training or custom small groups for 3 or more where we can customize a program and schedule that fits you needs and maximizes your results. For athletes who are already registered in a Twist class or team group, ask us about the TOTAL ATHLETE EXPERIENCE (T.A.E.) program which offers premium pricing for private training options.

Adult Functional Fitness AFF

Twist's most popular Adult Conditioning program is guaranteed to make your body more fit and functional. Adult Functional Fitness is a group (non-choreographed) training program that integrates balance, full body strength, core strength, stability, agility, aerobic and anaerobic conditioning, flexibility, and more. This 1 hour and 15 minute workout will increase your fitness level, meet your athletic goals, and develop your body to meet the demands of life and sport.

TWISTED AND TACTICAL tnt!

The TNT! program has been created with the Tactical Athlete in mind and is perfect for anyone who wants to take their strength and conditioning to the next level and has quickly become the most popular at Twist Whitby. Police, Firefighter and Military personnel require a high level of strength, speed and explosive power development to be successful in the field. This program will utilize all of the functional training tools from the Twist toolbox including the TRX, SledDwag, Medballs, and the new ViPR. If you are looking for a workout to challenge your physical and psychological limits and maximize strength and power development then TNT! is for you.

TWIST COMBINE CHALLENGETCC

The new Twist Combine Challenge class is officially our most demanding group workout class . This program is not for the feint of heart. TCC is the ultimate test of your internal drive to get better and your ability to push through physical and mental challenges. Are you up for it? TCC is a progressive program of TWIST drills challenges for movement, balance, strength and muscular endurance in a workout that will test you literally to the core. Just when you want to quit, the Twist Coach will motivate you to go beyond your perceived limits. You will compete against the exercises, the clock, the group and, of of course, yourself.

Whether you are an endurance athlete or just looking for for a high intensity workout to challenge your athletic limits and drive your heart rate near your max, then the ASC class is for you. ASC will train the anaerobic energy system through multi-directional interval training, resisted and overspeed running, agility, plyometrics, muscular endurance training and indoor cycling intervals. Maximize you calorie consumption and increase your cardiovascular capacity by elevating your VO2max and anaerobic power with this high output class. During the summer we will take this session outside to maximize the variety of Twist tools, ramp up on Vitamin D and get some fresh summer air.

Twist Functional Lunch & BreakfastTFl/TFB

The functional lunch/breakfast classes are the perfect opportunity to get your workout in before work or on your lunch break. These these condensed high intensity Twist training sessions will have you in and out of the training centre in 45 minutes after an amazing balance, strength, core and aerobic conditioning workout. Go to work or home with more energy. Showers and change rooms are available at the SCC. We now offer a variety of TFL/TFB class styles during the week to create the perfect mix and match of training. TFL/TFB classes offer tremendous value at $20/class for 1 session/week or $18/class for 2 & $15/class for 3 or more sessions.

Even the most successful athletes can get BETTER. It does not always mean training more often or training harder - but TRAINING SMARTER. Athletes cannot go 100%, 100% of the time. Recovery & Regeneration is essential to long term athletic success but it does not mean doing NOTHING! Efficient movement comes from uncovering weak links and developing strategies to enhance MObility, maximize STAbility, in order to truly progress strength and skill development. U3 will be low impact but NOT low intensity. We will utilize a variety of TWIST training tools including ViPR, TRX, Trigger Point Performance Therapy Tools and more all coached in a unique progression of TWIST movements and drills designed to UNlock the body, UNload the joints, and
UNleash
your true athletic potential for your sport, your training and your life.

Research has proven that 5-10 minutes of stretching after a game, practice or training session is just not enough. Experience a new freedom in your movement by releasing tension in muscles, constriction in joints, and adhesions in muscle fascia with the NEW R&R program.
